The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) allows taxpayers to electronically file up to five federal tax returns. Additional returns must be filed on paper and mailed to the IRS.

Do I need a separate TurboTax account for my LLC
If you have a Single Member LLC, you only need to file one Schedule C for your business expenses. This is because the LLC is a disregarded entity for tax purposes, and the income and expenses are reported on your personal tax return.
If you are a business owner, you have two TurboTax products to choose from—TurboTax Home & Business and TurboTax Business. TurboTax Home & Business is designed for sole proprietors and 1099 contractors, while TurboTax Business helps you prepare taxes for corporations, partnerships and LLCs. Whichever product you choose, you can be confident that TurboTax will help you get the maximum tax deductions and credits.
Which TurboTax should I use if I have an LLC?
An LLC is a business entity that offers personal liability protection and certain tax benefits. If your LLC is a single-member, your company will be treated as a sole proprietorship, and you can use TurboTax Home & Business. If you have a multi-member LLC, it is best to choose TurboTax Business.

Does TurboTax home and business include Schedule D
Schedule D is a tax form used to report capital gains and losses from the sale or exchange of capital assets. Capital assets include stocks, bonds, and real estate.
The prescribed rate for office space deductions for 2022 is $5 per square foot with a maximum of 300 square feet. This means that if your office space is 150 square feet, your deduction would be $750 (150 x $5). However, please note that the space must still be dedicated to business activities in order to qualify for the deduction.
Does owning a home give you a better tax return
The mortgage interest deduction allows homeowners to reduce their taxable income by deducting the interest paid on their home mortgage. This deduction provides a significant tax benefit to homeowners and gives them a significant advantage over taxpayers who do not own their homes. The mortgage interest deduction is one of the most popular deductions claimed by taxpayers, and it is one of the largest deductions in the tax code.
If you have a simple tax return, you can file for free with TurboTax Free Edition or TurboTax Live Assisted Basic. You can also file with TurboTax Live Full Service Basic at the listed price. A simple tax return is one that’s filed using IRS Form 1040 only, without having to attach any forms or schedules.
Does owning a home give you a bigger tax return
The biggest benefit of owning a home is that you begin building equity in an investment instead of paying rent. And Uncle Sam is there to help ease the pain of high mortgage payments. The tax deductions now available to you as a homeowner will reduce your tax bill substantially.
The IRS disregards the LLC entity as being separate and distinct from the owner. Essentially, this means that the LLC typically files the business tax information with your personal tax returns on Schedule C. The profit or loss from your businesses is included with the other income you report on Form 1040.
Do you have to do your personal and business taxes together
A sole proprietor is someone who owns an unincorporated business by themselves. This type of business is not a legal entity, which means that the owner is personally liable for the debts and obligations of the business.
As a sole proprietor, you will have to file the income you acquire from your business on a Schedule C form. This form is filed along with your personal income taxes. If you file this way, you cannot file a tax return for your business separately.
The main advantage of being a sole proprietor is that it is relatively easy to set up and manage. There is no need to file any paperwork with the government in order to get started. Additionally, sole proprietors have complete control over their business.
The main disadvantage of being a sole proprietor is that the owner is personally liable for the debts and obligations of the business. This means that if the business fails, the owner’s personal assets could be at risk. There is also no separation between the owner’s personal life and the business, which can make it difficult to keep track of business expenses.
If your business is incorporated, you will need to file a corporate (T2) tax return for the business, as well as a separate personal (T1) tax return. The type of income tax return you have to file will depend on the business structure.
